Projection mapped 14 foot animation

Recently, Stick Mob Studio artists Alyssa Mason and Seraphina Newberry travelled to the APY Lands to spend a week with the Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Education Committee (PYEC) Anangu Resource Development Unit (ARDU). Together with artists from Kaltjiti (Fregon) and Pukatja (Ernabella), they created digital images through times for drawing, cooking Kangaroo tail on Country and sharing stories.

Our work was inspired by visiting the Artback exhibition at 8 Hele Crescent, Wangka Walytja – The Life and Times of the Papunya Literature Production Centre by Papunya Tjupi artists.

For The Suburban Review journal commission, we created a front cover, a two-page comic, and an illustration responding to Erin Richie’s flash fiction Catching Impossible Things.
