On Saturday 31 May, we launched the second volume of our graphic novels at the NT Writers’ Festival (NTWF).
Responding to the festival theme angkwerre-iweme | healing in the winds of change, we presented Art for Troubled Times—a talk about how our storytelling reimagines life in central Australia.
Our stories are grounded in lived experience, shaped by cultural knowledge entrusted to us, and by our passion for popular culture and speculative fiction. For us, storytelling is about changing narratives through writing stories that matter to us and the wider community.
Thanks to the NT Writers’ Festival, Craig San Roque and Leighton Mason for opening and MCing our event. Red Kangaroo Books for the pop-up book stall and to our friends and family for your support. Photo by Oliver Eclipse, 2025
